Dreams

"Everyone believes that the main aim in life is to follow a plan. They never ask if that plan is theirs or created by another. They accumulate experiences, memories, things than they could possibly cope with. That’s why they forget their dreams." -- Paulo Coelho, The Zahir

from the same author as The Alchemist, wherein i got the line "When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream." which had been the inspiration for my very first entry in this blog. and i felt that the line is not true in my life. but when i read the line from The Zahir, it said everything i feel.

i'm not the type of person who has everything planned out in her life. i'm the as anything goes type of person. but as everyone else here, i had dreams when i was a child. so, i studied, etc., etc.. but then circumstances happen. i accumulated experiences, and then i'm here now. far from my dream(s). it's like i'm following another plan. honestly, i have forgotten about my dream. and i just recalled about it only a month ago.

i'm not in a senti mode right now. it just made me assessed my life. but still i did not assess it, coz i am afreaid. i may not get favorable results.

Whatever the results, whether you like it or not... you move on. It's that simple. :-)

Things get harder though when one is depressed enough to move on.

Paulo Coelho have sell many many books around the world, writing about his experience, he is a type of guru, or I think he write about the magical side of all humans, where the dreams live, sometimes to trust that exist a magical world help to fell better, sometimes to dream too much or live in these parallel world make to lost true opportunities, so i think when we feel tooooooooo sad is important to trust that is just a bad time and full the thoughts of magical dreams sometimes we need to be very realistic... and the years run we lost many dreams but the best are that the better dream comes aways each day, day after day ; ))Finally the history of the humanity, had everybody their dreams, I don´t consider lost, but transformed... as well as will yours, and with mine 45 years old, I am able to said 4, the best one will come;)) is important 2 study, work with what do you like, have a family... today mine dream 4 example, It´s to see mine 3 happy sons carrying out all of the dreams of them ;))))

there's always a plan for everyone.... follow ur dreams. and when it doesn't work out, just take it that perhaps that's not what the plan is in store for us but an alternative route to reach the final destination just so that we can learn from the process and mistakes.

"When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream." I haven't read any Paulo Coelho book yet but this quote is so so true for me right now. And it's so strange coz I just read this now and my entry yesterday was really about following my dream. Hmmm.... part of the unseen forces of the universe? =)

I might have said it before, but my saying is: "It works if you work it, so work it, you're worth it". A plan or not: try to find out and follow you're heart and what gives you energy I would say:-)

What would life be without dreams? I'm not sure if we can even consider oursleves alive if we can't even dream.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him and he will show you the way. -- I forgot which Bible verse but it always helps me when I'm getting lost.

bw: i still dream but i don't dream about my plans, i only dream of the impossible. for example, by this year i'll tour the world. hehe. at least if it won't happen, i won't get disappointed. hehe

neko: don;t worry i still do dream :)

toe: honestly, now i'm scared to acknowledge Him. parang ayoko nung gusto nya. but that's another post. hehe. and the verse is from Proverbs.

Well, you gotta face what God has given you. Perhaps, yung pinapangarap mo dati was not your destiny.

Sana ma-reach mo pa rin yung goal mo, kahit hindi yan yung dream mo.

Or, na-reach mo na?

Good luck!
