Randomness

In my last post, I said that I am a badder person and that I miss God. honestly, i was like tampo with Him. but even with all the drama moments with God, He still has been good to me and my family. how? my brother was granted a scholarship. 75%!!! saya! hahaha. and since la salle required that the student be enrolled first before the scholarship will be known, we discovered that we have a refund pa! san ka pa? hehe. it's just P600.00. but the good thing is that for the first time in my brother's 13-year stay in lsgh, it's just now that he is fully paid before the classes start. saya! coz no more worries and problems in the middle of the schoolyear for the payment of the tuition fee. ang saya diba? heehehe.

Finally! i got my diploma. after 5 years? hahaha. i've finished college, summer of 2001, and marched in 2002. and got my diploma only yesterday! hahaha. as my friend who got it told me, she was asked why only now. she even has to make a story that i'm out of the country kse. hehehe.

The other night, i was with some econsoc people. and a question was asked.. what is one thing that you would like to do/accomplish? i was the last to answer. my friend answered to be a UN volunteer or something like that. something like Julia Campbell. and i answered that i just want to travel alone. to go and stay in a place i'm not really familiar with on my own. i've been wanting this for so long but i'm scared. anyway, my friend's answer got me thinking till yesterday. years ago, it's one ultimate dream for me.. to be a UN volunteer or something like that. basta to really make a big difference in this world. but then why when my friend answered that.. i didn't say: "Me too!!" i was just like okay. then it hit me.. yes, i wanted to be one before. but now.. i really did not care if i make a big difference in the world. i want to make a big difference in the life of someone i know, people who are close to me.. friends and family. it's like 'm feeling that my family and friends need me more than other people. i can't explain it clearly but it's like i should help the people around me and by doing so, i'm also making a big difference to the world. did you get it? labo ko talaga! hehehe.

anyway, how about you? what is the one thing you want to do/accomplish?

First of all, congrats on your kid brother getting a 75% scholarship. Galeeng!

As for making a difference in this world, no need to go to the UN for that, why not try applying in an NGO instead? :-)

Have a great three-day weekend, Tin. :-)

well, if you make a difference in someone's life, it's still making a difference, right? Even if it's just with your friends or family. :)

Hindi mo ba kinailangan yung diploma mo dati? Bakit ngayon mo lang nakuha?

Things i want to accomplish?
--I want to be far more better from what I am now with regards to my abilities... And I can only do that by three things: work, hard work and more work!
Better get started.

Hey congrats kay brother. Galeng. :)

I am making a difference in the lives of my family and friends, not sure if it's a good difference though, hehehe...

Yeah I get what you mean. As far as accomplishments, the thing with the stress of work is the idea of accomplishment is finishing your job for the day. hehe...

You want to try to take the foreign service exam Tin? In any case, just try to take the exam. It is always a good career option.

congrats to your bro at syempre sa'yo na rin dahil at last, nakuha mo na ang diploma mo!!

Ang galing naman. At least this school year you don't have to worry about tuitions.

Try mo maging volunteer. My friend is a VOS volunteer sa India and she has been around the country ever since kahit minsan mag-isa sya o kasama nya ibang volunteers. It's a very rewarding experience

utoy: hehehe. i'm facing the real world for the longest time already :)

sexy mom: tita, 2001 pa po ako graduate. hehehe. sa ateneo nagbibigay din sila ng scholarship? hehehe. what i love about la salle is that they somehow emphatize with their student's financial condition :)

toe: thank you for reminding me!!! i was supposed to take the exams last year. then nakita ko sa requirements, kailangan yung diploma. malapit na deadline for submiision of requirements at di ko pa nakukuha diploma ko.. so di ako naka-apply. try ko yan! hehe. patulong ako syo magreview ha. hehe ;p

rho: thank you, thank you! i'm sure you would be a great wife and mother. lapit na dumating jan diba? hehe ;p

Congrats to your brother. 75% scholarship is big !

Not a bad idea to work for the UN if you're interested in humanitarian work. I know a friend who wanted to work for the UN too. She wanted to work only in one place though - the UN headquarters in New York City hehe :)

UN volunteer eh? I just read in CNN.com that harry of wales wants to be one too.

But you have more class than him.

ako din i wanted the life of a UN or Unicef volunteer. i used to be active in local medical missions so kahit papano nakakatravel ako allover the Philippines. pero i realized that establishing roots matters to me more. so that's what i want to do most. to establish solid roots for me and my family. :)

Hi tin :) A newbie here....

Anyway what is that thing I want to do/accomplish. Actually like you I also want to travel but I guess I want to travel with my sister or my cousin. I need someone to take my pictures hahahaha :)

Congratulations to your bother pala. Hmmmm back in college (la salle-bacolod) I also applied for a scholarship but I knew right after the application what I got..hmmm maybe they changed the system now. I mean I know all LS universities/schools follow the same protocol :)

Tin-tin, congrats on getting your diploma! Pero tagal na yan ah! he he.

To dream of making a difference is admirable. But I think you already made a difference to people around you. Take a second second look.

hi tin! to answer your question, I'd love to be a mom soon. I am more than willing to experience the pains and joy of pregnancy and motherhood as a whole. But then, this accomplishment will only be realized depending on God's will...

happy dad's day to your dad! :)

First of all congrats with your diploma - it was about time!

Secondly what I want to accomplish: A lot of things, but reading your post reminded me of that it is important to begin with yourself and your closest. Remember, if everyone do that, no one will be let out and everyone will have someone to love and care for.

Btw: if you decide to go traveling, you can always claim a free lunch in Norway:-)
