Weekend Movie Singing

last weekend (the really long weekend), i just stayed at home. i really planned of not going out except last sunday for mass and for the wedding preps of marj. i just indulged myself with tv, dvd, internet, computer games, sleep. hehehe. and i was really contented. why? because it seems that it was only last weekend that i really had some rest. it was a lazy weekend for me. it's like i didn't have any pressure or whatever.

and since i slightly had a dvd marathon (movies coz i finished the tv series already), almost all the movies i watched have a good soundtrack. and the good thing about dvd, some of it have lyrics showing. and this made me enjoy the movie more, coz i get to sing along. hahaha. that is why i watched again and again Love Actually. it's not only because i love their soundtrack, but also the movie itself. i love it!

haay... how i wish i'll find a dvd of Moulin Rouge and The Sound of Music...

weekend is fast approaching again.. any plans for the weekend? and what movie soundtrack is your favorite?

Hi! How are you?
No definite plans yet for the weekend but hopefully we'll do something fun or relaxing :)
I don't really have a "favorite" soundtrack but if I had to choose one, it will be "Center Stage" as ballet holds a special spot in my heart! Love the slow ballads and my favorite song is "If I was the One"
Have a wonderful weekend! :)

I also fell in love with Keira Knightley in that movie, "Love Actually".

when the movie ended, I can only say to myself what she never heard him say to himself after they kissed, as he walked away from her forever.

"That's enough... It has to be enough" or something like that.

tk: yup, that's what he said. "That is enough." ang sweet niya sobra! ang bait! :)

He,he... good you moved on. So I don't have to answer your difficult questions... ;-)
You should find those missing movies in Quiapo (near the Golden Mosque). They have almost everything there.

I guess the movie soundtrack that really had an impact on me was "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" that included a lot of ass-kicking rock songs. I was 1st year college then.

Other notables would be "Notting Hill" and "Dying young".

The Holiday soundtrack is good; by Hans Zimmer.

;)

This weekend I've no plans. Maybe I'll check out the Pyrotechnics competition if I don't change my mind to just laze at home!

What about you ate?

i'll be going to the freddie aguilar concert on saturday. :D

Soundtrack? I like the scores by Hans Zimmer. He did the soundtrack for Crimson Tide and Gladiator. Can't really sing along to them b/c they usually have no lyrics. hehe

Nothing major for me but the next weekend is Labor Day long weekend which means that we have to drive and spend a night somewhere :) Moulin Rouge and Sound of Music are both classics and should be easy enough to find, I would think :)

Hope you're doing well! I really like the soundtrack to "The Prince of Egypt".

Lately I've been really into The Beatles and Jimmy Hendrix though. So more of everything they do!

I'm not that into movies talaga pero I did like the movie soundtrack of "A walk to remember" which featured songs from Switchfoot and Jars of Clay.

You can find dvd's of "Moulin Rouge" and "The Sound of Music" anywhere ah. I got copies of them at the Makati Cinema Square. I don't know if they are still selling pirated dvd's there. Check it out.

The occasional lazy weekend is good. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a good musical.
