when you like a person, you would remember everything even just the small detail. like for example, when you bumped into each other in a mall or he texted you or greeted you or even just smiled at you. you would remember this for the longest time, maybe forever. but the question is.. does he remember it also?
but honestly, i don't care if he remembers or not (hopefully he does. hehe), the important thing is how he made you feel. the kilig* factor. it gives you hope.. maybe not with him.. but just hope that someday, someone could give you that kilig factor for the rest of your life.
*kilig - that tingling feeling that you get when you see your crush that will leave you with an uncontrollable smile.

hmmm.... if a person can still give you that kilig factor for the rest of your life, that would surely be commendable... grey hair, bulging tummy and all. :) yan nga siguro ang sikreto ng mga matatandang nakikita kong naghoholding hands habang namamasyal... i'd like to associate the kilig factor with romance, more than just loyalty, devotion or commitment in a relationship.

Apparently women remember every detail of their first meeting etc, but men hold the memory differently.
I know I remember every detail of when I met my special man, I even wrote a small story about it.
Now years later I could tell you the exact color of the shirt he was wearing and what he actually said.
But to him our first meeting is a blank.
He may have a selective memory but I still adore him.
Hmmm I think I know that Kilig - Vikings can have them too you know:-)

My definition of kilig: Butterflies in the stomach to the nth degree, but Kilig is such a FIlipino thing, I don't think anyone can ever truly translate it's meaning to English. hehehe

Yes, it is true... you don't forget those things. Even if it happened long time ago. You might forget your telephone number but not the "kilig"! :-)
