singer in me

my singing voice is to die for. you would rather want to die than hear me sing. hehehe.

my father proposed something to me. he'll not enroll me to driving lessons but instead to a voice lesson so i can sing freely whenever i want. and he was amazed with the improvement of toni rose gayda (is it the correst surname?) so most probably, mine would improve also. i told him i don't like since if i'll have a great singing voice, i'll not be popular anymore. i'll just be one of those people who had a good singing voice.

yesterday, i heard mass with my highschool bestfriend. i told her that when i was still a kid i wanted to be a priest because the priest can sing anytime on microphone and nobody is stopping him. you know her suggestion? i can sing at the street corners like a crazy woman and nobody would stop me. i would even earn because i'm sure people would give me money. hahaha.

hmmm... change of careers?

Ur friend has a nice suggestion. lol! Wow I always wanted to enroll on a singing lesson but I got enough training while I was still in a choir!

I've always thought of enrolling in singing lessons, but it's so expensive! I already had my driving lessons 1 year ago and still didn't apply for a license. I guess I'm getting lazy these days...

LOL over your friend's advice! Maybe that singing in the streets can also be a part-time job.=D

I've also wanted to be a singer - but i was not very sure whether my voice is that good enough! Singing lessons might help - it improves your vocal chords! Happy singing!

Try mo rin, si tin-tin ko more than a year na syang nasa voice lesson , malaki na rin ang improvement nya, nawala pa yung pagka mahiyain.

Well, I would if I will hear you sing hahaha!

Go for it though, living a certain dream is worth the effort.

Haha! Natawa talaga ako dito. Haha! Oh, and I will choose driving lessons over voice lessons anytime!

why not? :)

charles: you're part of a choir? you don't need to enroll in a singing lesson. you have a nive voice already

jv: i already know how to drive. i had a student's license years before. but just that. then i got "busy" then until now i still do not have any license. and i've been rusty with my driving already

jase: then be a singer!!! i think you'll be a great singer. but i haven't heard your voice yet :( i don't want to really improve my singing voice :)

ann: if i'll take voice lessons.. i'll not be popular :(

jef: go for it? as in i'll sing the street corners? ;p

babymoi: thanks for dropping by. hi to the queerchef :)

jhed: totoo yan noh! hehe. i will choose driving lessons also. but my dad won;t agree :(

melai: why not? kse kapag mag-voice lessons ako, gaganda boses ko lalo. hahaha. wala masyadong impact sa mga tao. unlike ngayon na maganda lang, tapos sobrang stage presence.. mas sikat yun diba? kakaiba kse :)

meron akong friend di masyadong magaling umawit, pero pagkatapos mag voice lesson, grabe napanganga ako sa galing niyang kumanta. kung scholar ka ng iyong itay, why not take the opportunity?

No need to appear crazy in public. Why, the bathroom would suffice. Hehe. I don't know how to sing too. That makes two of us already. Cheers to both of us. We can't have everything, right? Good looks are enough. Nyahaha.

tommy: better ako kay toni rose? ewan ko lang. hehehe

kolletzki: if i'll take the opportunity, sobrang common na lang yun. hindi na tlga yun yung God-given talent. hehehe

abaniko: hahaha. you're right, we can't have everything. nobody's perfect. that's why God didn't give that anymore. baka maging mayabang tayo masyado. hehehe ;p

So you think your voice is to die for? Try listening to some of those wannabees in the corner singing in front of a coin operated karaoke stand...

maybe you should volunteer in your church choir. it would hone your singing voice. i think everybody can sing. those who sing off-key even can develop their skills.

it's good that you can sing! use it more often in song/worship leading.

You've always said that you're not a good singer. But still you're proud of it. Though talent cannot be taught, skills do. So if you really wanted singing so badly, do as what your father says. Telent is inherent but it takes hard work to prusue something you love even though it's not in you naturally.
And here's ahope that you'd go on and podcast your songs one day.

Well, it's only really you who can gauge if your voice has room for improvement.. LOL.. Karaoke is a good assessment for a start. But if you really have the passion to sing because YOU enjoy it, go ahead with the singing lessons. I bet you it will make a difference.

snglguy: honestly, i thought my voice is better than theirs until my officemates told me the truth :(

tani: i don't know why but i never wanted to join the church choir :)

lazarus: i use it but they don't want me to :(

rey: i love to sing. i thought i had a good voice. but it's the people around me who tells me that i don't

bw: if my dad thinks it has a room for improvement, then i guess it does :)

We are two of a kind - at least when it comes to singing. When I was young, my friends always put me in front of the drummer set to keep me away from the microphone:-)

I SING WELL.
I SING WELL.
I SING WELL.
I SING VERY WELL.

makes me believe it already!

tin-tin said...

rennyba: hahaha. so does that mean you're good in playing drums? when there's a celebration, my friends would ask me to sing first so everyone will be inspired to sing. coz if i can do it, much more them :)

tin-tin said...

vina: hahaha. you should say...
I DRIVE WELL
I DRIVE WELL
BLAG!
just kidding vina :)

If your dad wants to pay for singing lessons and you are interested, then I would suggest you go for it.

It is better to do this than 20 years later wish you had done them.

On the other hand if you don't care, then just ask your dad to buy you a car isntead ;-)

hahaha. i like your idea richard :)
