Getting Big

a lot of people when they see me now tell me that i'm getting thinner or narrower or whatever. but honestly, it's the opposite. and it's not because i'm getting anorexic or what. promise, i'm really getting bigger. my pants are getting tight again. sad... hehe.

and what made me decide to lose weight again? i was supposed to wear this black dress in a party. but when i tried it on, it won't close!! ugh!!! that means i'm really bigger now. until now, i still can't accept that it doesn't fit me. the pic was taken three years ago. it's just three years, right?


i really need to lose weight. and i don't know how i'll do it especially if your friends influence you to pig-out (ate mei and jassy, hmph!). next month (sorry, i won't follow sam milby's movie to start right now), that would be what i'm doing. i'll exercise and have balanced diet.

but that means, i'm still big on birthday. waaah!

Yes, that's a fabulous picture you got. I like the smile on your face. It is so contagious. You remind me of LJ Reyes who's always smiling. Regarding losing weight, have you tried after six? That means you eat what you want the whole day but after six p.m., you don't eat anything until sunrise the following morning. It's hard at first especially if you are a night person. But if you will persist, you will notice that you will gradually lose weight. I heard it first from Christine Jacobs. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Kidding aside, people who loves you will always accept even if you're getting bigger. My girlfriend is very much conscious about gaining weight until I assure her na okay lang sa akin yon... :)

I always told you to ditch the chocolates and ice creams. now see the consequences.... hehe. you're still pretty but you really have to lose some pounds to wear that stunning black dress. so you have to go through with that self control again-- which is harder the second time.

i also believe in exercise and balance diet. both of which requires discipline and determination.

now you have just told the world everyone's problem with dieting :) Losing weight is the easy part. Maintaining the weight is where everyone has a hard time !

hmmmm... mahirap nga magbawas ng weight.... pero kung tutuusin... if you feel sexy at pretty... lalabas naman yun eh... no matter what your size is =).

kung sa diet naman... discipline lang talaga kalaban. :D

As you get older, weight gain happens.

Don't try to be a hero and starve yourself. It won't work. Continue to eat normally, just make the following change: reduce the carbs. Instead of taking a big helping of rice or noodles, go for an extra helping or two of vegetables.

Don't eat green salads, they don't work, taste like cardboard (unless you smother them in some fatty dressing). I enjoy tomato salads with added veggies (chopped up tomato with green beens, some green onions and a bit of salt and pepper is very nice).

Since being laid off, I have gained 12lbs. sigh. Too much temptation to eat as I hang around the house. sigh.
